Doree Leventhal Ltd was incorporated on 5th April 1929 during the heady days of the Wireless Age.

In those days, clothes were long and slinky but Doree Leventhal understood fashion.

They lasted for over 100 years, taking trends and reinventing them in eye catching designs and styles for the more affluent market.

They remained as gown manufacturers right through until the 1980s when the company was liquidated in 1983.

Their offices were always based in the same road near Oxford Circus in the shopping heart of The Capital and at the end of its life you could find them at 12-13 Poland Street, London W1.
